This year we moved the venue to the Athenĉum Centre, a grade ll listed building, dating from the 1850's in the heart of Warminster.
Amongst the featured artistes were:
Andy Eastwood - is a unique young artist who has dazzled audiences with his playing of the ukulele-banjo, violin and guitar, and in a lively, refreshing act, he combines vocal and instrumental artistry with personality and humour, bringing to life songs of all kinds. He is now described as Britain's foremost ukulele virtuoso, and is widely recognised as the finest re-creator of George Formby's comic songs.
Kev Duncan - is that delightful combination so rarely found these days. Not only does he have a pleasing personality but he is overflowing with talent. The Stage & Television Today wrote "Remember the name Kev Duncan. This immaculately dressed young man is the best impressionist to hit the scene for a long time".
Des O'Connor has described him as "A talented young man with a very bright future" and is the ideal family entertainer, who not only guarantees laughs, but who is guaranteed not to offend anyone with his material.
Lauren Medway - At the tender age of 10 years old Lauren is shocking people into disbelief with her amazing melodic vocals - they just can not believe what they are hearing - such a big voice coming from this little girl. Lauren has sung with Starry Eyes from the age of 6 years old and has just got better and better with every passing day Lauren has already stirred interests with Sony BMG and has been recommended by top London agencies to audition for the West End Musicals.
and compered by Derek Maddison - a one-man - great - all-round entertainer who cut his teeth on the Northern Scene. A wonderful character and a man of many voices including Elvis, Pat Boone, Kenny Rogers, Bobby Darrin, Matt Monro, Johnny Mathis, Neil Diamond, Huelo E. Willie Nelson, Des O'Conner & not forgetting Yacky Duck!!!
